There is just something about winter weddings that excite me, Thomas & Natalia’s wedding was one of those special winter weddings that make me so grateful to be a wedding photographer. Their setting was Festa at Kleinevalleij in Wellington, a unique venue that always surprises me with the quirky atmosphere that only a wedding held here can accomplish. Its obvious when looking at this wedding that they are both creative people, Thomas a photographer himself and Natalia, an amazing dress designer made sure every detail of their wedding reflected their unique personalities.

“As soon as i arrived at the venue and we waited to walk down the isle,my one bridesmaid whispered a little prayer in my ear and after that I peaked over the wall to see if I could get a glimpse of my husband to be,just to find he was already standing on his toes to see if he could see me over the edge of the wall! we both waved at each other and at that moment all the stress and planning went out the door and I couldn’t stop smiling from that moment on. The moments I loved most was walking down the isle with my dad by my side, having our best friends next to us, and kissing my husband not only once,but twice!! (Thank you for that one Andre)! Drinking my first cup of coffee as I entered Festa and seeing the decor exactly how we imagined it, was a moment I stopped to take in! We loved our couple shoot, we felt so at ease and couldn’t have chosen a better photographer! Then the laughs continued! My grandfather was dancing with sparklers in his hand as they welcomed us in as Mr and Mrs! We had pizza and burgers,danced to one of our favorite songs,played by one of our favorite bands,opened the candy table and danced a line dance we made up on the spot! We loved every moment of the day and most of all,spending it with our friends and family!”
