Hilmar & Antonia - Bosman Family Vineyards - Lelienfontein

Shooting a wedding on a couples private family farm is always a fresh and unique experience. Everything is personal and you have ample new and unique locations for photos. Hilmar and Antonia’s wedding was on Antonia’s family farm Bosman family Vineyards – Lelienfontein in Wellington.  A beautiful flowing landscape of vineyards.  Almost the entire family lives on the farm, with ample space each family  has their own private piece of paradise. Hilmar & Antonia however live in the majestic Karoo on one of the other family farms. The ceremony was held under the old oak trees in front of the manor house. After the ceremony the guests received a glass of champagne and were encouraged to follow the couple down the road to the pre drinks, all this while being accompanied by there very own accordionist.  As a true gentleman, Hilmar has the privilege to open the gate and welcome his guests into the pre drinks area.  The pre drinks had a relaxed farm ambiance, with chickens roaming through the tables and chairs. A marquee tent was setup for the ceremony with indigenous flowers and rustic decor creating a greenhouse effect, english silver and cut glass added a touch of elegance. The evening was celebrated with speeches, food, drinks and lots of  “lang-arm” dancing.
